Head chef and owner of Tiramisu Italian Restaurant, Mario Curro was born in Sicily and migrated from Sicily eight years ago bringing with him the traditional and highly-guarded homemade Italian recipes for antipasta, primi pasta, secondi, and dolci.

Mario Curro learnt the art of gourmet Italian when he was young. “I was born in the family restaurant, Vecchia Cantina, in Sicily and trained for many years to become a chef under the close supervision of the executive chef. All my life I have been in hospitality”. After working through Italy and Europe, Mario made the journey to Australia to establish one of Brisbane’s finest Italian restaurants.
